This engaging program will feature an in-depth discussion between RPI President Martin A. Schmidt ’81 and RJ Scaringe ’05, founder and CEO of Rivian. The discussion will include Scaringe’s journey from RPI student to his extraordinary success as an entrepreneur, when he founded Rivian in 2009 to help accelerate the world’s shift toward carbon neutral energy and transportation.
Learn how Scaringe brought his childhood dream of having his own company to life, built on the foundation of his RPI education, and through his amazing talents as both an engineer and a designer. His company, Rivian Automotive, Inc., a leading electric vehicle manufacturer, is dedicated to addressing our planet’s climate crisis and preserving the critical biodiversity needed for our planet’s long-term survival.
