A record crowd of 2,256 alumni and guests returned to Troy to mark RPI’s Bicentennial and to celebrate Reunion & Homecoming during the weekend of September 27-29. Attendees enjoyed more than 50 individual events, with tours, research and school presentations, athletic competitions (including Saturday’s women’s ice hockey win over Holy Cross, setting an all-time attendance record!), and of course, Reunion activities for classes ending in 4 or 9, culminating with class dinners and dancing at the Hilton Garden Inn. Of special note were the 50th Reunion Class of 1974; the Class of 1954 celebrating the first-ever 70th Class Reunion; and honored guest Andrew Manchester ’49, who returned with his son, David, to celebrate his 75th Reunion.
